One problem is that it makes your car hard to control, which often leads to sliding, car crashes, and sometimes death. Between the months of October and November There Have Been 15 deaths, 400-1500 car crashes, and 750 + people injured because of icy roads. However this is only in the central United States.

The one thing that leads to icy roads is the weather. If the weather drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit the roads will become icy and slick. another Aspect of cold weather is that peoples cars do not start properly. Sometimes it may take 4 to 20 times to get it started. Then after that you should take the time needed, and let your engine warm up before driving. Otherwise, you cant do serious damage to your car's engine.
